I provide advice and advocacy in civil litigation and family law matters.
I enjoy working with, and advocating for, clients to resolve their disputes and to achieve the best possible outcomes in the context of those disputes. I take pride in my attention to detail, which I bring to every file. I also understand that being involved in litigation can be stressful and confusing. I therefore ensure that advice is given as clearly and succinctly as possible and that clients understand the options available to them, including the potential risks and benefits of those options, at each stage in the dispute.
I have appeared in the Court of Appeal, High Court, District Court, and Family Court. I have experience in a range of areas of law, including commercial disputes, complex relationship property and trust matters, employment disputes and immigration law.
I obtained my Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts degrees from Victoria University of Wellington and I completed a Master of Laws at the University of Auckland. I have written articles that have been published in national and international legal journals on topics relating to relationship property law, mental capacity law, and international aspects of family law.
